Write for us
We welcome pitches that give readers a fresh way to understand visual matching and design choices. Send proposals through the Contact page, with a clear subject and an explanation of what the piece will help a reader notice.
What we want to read
Pitch focused explanations, comparisons, visual histories, myth checks and occasion-led guides about colour, type, composition, materials or identity. Strong proposals stay with one useful question, use examples carefully and offer an angle beyond a list of preferences.
Shape a useful pitch
Include a working title, the central idea, the intended reader and a short outline of the main points. Tell us what makes the approach distinct and what sources or visual examples you expect to use. We prefer pieces readers can understand without specialist access, first-hand testing or claims that cannot be checked.
A few boundaries
We do not consider promotional copy disguised as editorial, unsupported claims or material that borrows another writer's work. Please tell us about relevant commercial interests. A pitch is a proposal rather than a promise of publication; send it through the Contact page for consideration.
A match should have a reason.
We look beyond what merely coordinates to ask how contrast, purpose and context make visual choices work together.
