Bold Match Insights aims to make visual design easier to discuss and understand. Our editorial approach values clear explanations, careful distinctions and candour about what an example can show.

Accuracy and clarity

We check claims and terminology against suitable sources when a piece depends on them, and distinguish explanation from opinion. We avoid presenting personal taste as a universal rule. If an article simplifies a subject for clarity, it should not hide a qualification that changes the point.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions are made for reader interest, not as a condition of a partnership. Paid, gifted or otherwise partner-supported material is clearly labelled where it appears. A partner placement does not imply editorial endorsement, and commercial arrangements do not determine our conclusions.

Corrections and illustrations

We review reported errors and correct material when needed, making significant changes clear to readers. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when they are, they are identified as AI-generated. Illustrations are used to support an explanation, not as evidence of a real object or event.
